Journalists interested in feminism and social justice can apply for this program.
The Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID) has launched the Feminist Journalist Project (FJP), which aims to create a cohort of 15 journalists reporting about the ways in which feminists resist oppression.
Participants will receive honorariums of US$15,000 and have access to six online sessions between May 2021 and May 2022.
The ideal candidates represent the organization’s priority constituencies, including trans people, Black feminists, women with disabilities, sex workers, and Indigenous feminists.
The deadline is May 8.
